“Hi Laura, Sarah, Martyn and the team

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for the dedicated care and friendship that you and your team are providing to my parents.

Dad has always been a tricky customer but the sensitive, caring approach taken by you and the team- particularly C (‘my nurse’- according to Dad!,) Sarah and Martyn for everything that you do to help, and for Laura’s level head when putting in the support needed, has made the translation to care a really stress free, lovely experience for all of us.

C and A have been amazing with Mum. She looks forward to their visits and talks about them all the time!

Thanks to C and A for their vigilance with Mum’s leg ulcer- between us we managed to organise doctors visits and prescriptions - pick ups and administration whilst I was on holiday.

For A to send the picture in the first place and C liaising with the surgery for the prescriptions, I really can’t put in to words how grateful we are.

Care for Mum and Dad was always inevitable. For me, being 100 miles away and with no experience of dementia, this could have been an absolute minefield to navigate through.

Thankfully, the care Sarah provided during lockdown led naturally to Alliance, making the transition smooth and easily accepted by Mum and Dad.

We really couldn’t be happier with the care that you are all providing. I volunteer in Leicestershire and see first hand some of the local care companies at work. It makes me realise how lucky we are to have such friendly, caring people looking after my parents.
